Prerequisite condition bug?

Prerequisite condition does not work.

InstallShield 2009 Professional Edition, Version 15, Service Pack 2.

5.82 < 5.83 true
5.82 < 5.84 false – should be also true

Bug is not OS specific. The same behavior in XP 32, Vista 32 and Vista 64.

For IS 2009 SP2 we added a new condition option: "Registry entry has a specified version value". You will need to use this option instead of the one you are using now if you you want to do numeric comparisons such as the one you demonstrate in your post. The option you are currently using only does a string comparison, which will not yield the results that you desire.
