[urgent] Help Please!!!!!!

Hello,

PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

I screwed my friend's computer.

I was trying to update a program which uses Installshield for its installation.

I thought the best way was to uninstall the program and install it again.

I tried to uninstall the program but it didn't work well.

It seems like it removed the most of the stuff except the icon on the desktop, icons on the start menu bar, and the usual C drive folders/files.

Now I'm trying to install the program again and

the installshield doesn't let me have the option to choose

"Repair" and "Modify".

I just have the option for "Remove"

So I tried to using "Remove" to completely remove the program.

InstallShiled says the program has been removed,

but if I tried to install again,

it doesn't install and shows Remove/Repair/Modify screen.

I tried to delete the registry files for the program,

but no luck.

I need to install this program again,

but InstallShield is not allowing it.

Please help me out!!

Have you deleted the following registry entry :

HKLM\SOFTWARE|Microsoft\windows\Current Version\Uninstall\

Delete the Product GUID for your application and then try to install again.

I think I've done that.

The reason why I think I have

is because I first searched for the program at "regedit"

and deleted the most stuff that got found.

It may have been there and I've deleted it

or it may have not even been there in the first place.

But there isn't anything related to my program there.

Do yo have any other suggestions?
