requirements screen
Hi all,
I've noticed some installs have these cool requirement screens where it shows the computer is searching for a prequisite in a dialog box - if it finds it it puts a green checkmark next to it and moves to the next requirement. I wish I had a screenshot of something doing this but I don't.
Is this possible to do with an .msi? Just something I wanted to construct to spice up the install 🙂

You mean like in the installer for SQL Server Express? That's a bootstrapper created with Visual Studio.

yeah SQL express is one of 'em, thanks for helping to refresh my memory. guess i'll have to crack open visual studio and investigate.
