"please wait while windows configures..." message when opening app?

Can anyone explain why this message appears? It occurs after an install of an msi, as soon as the newly installed app is opened?

Thanks. Can you think of why this would occur on Vista, and not XP?

Have you checked the information in the System Event Viewer for this yet? This will tell you which component is involved. This should help you better understand the problem.
