how to create a merge module that will be installed in one of two different folders?
Hi;
I'm currently evaluating Installshield2013. I have a question on creating merge modules. What I would like to be able to do is create a merge module that can be installed into different folders based on what type of installer it is being added to. :confused:
What I mean by type of installer is : whether it is a full installer or an sdk. :eek:
What I would like to do is have the merge module installed to a directory (C:\XXX\yyy\bin) if it is used in a full installer. one to be handed to our customers. And if I add the merge module to an sdk, have it installed to a different directory (C:\workspace\sourcecode\output\bin).
How would you do this with installshield?
Thanks
Shawn

No actually I found my answer in this help topic "http://helpnet.installshield.com/installshield16helplib/HelpLib.htm#IHelpMMOverrideDestination.htm"
I just have to override the destination in both the SDK and final installers.
Thanks.
