How to test your installation in a virtual environment.
How can I set up some virtual environment to test the installation. Any advice?
I am happy to be alive at this moment. I was almost dead and gone! I totally messed things up somehow, and my Windows 7 system was crashing every two minutes. Don't ask how I accomplished that, you don't want to know. Anyway, I recovered the system, but now would like to test my installation in a sort of virtual environment and when I mess up again, I just throw the virtual environment away, and start again.

Maybe VMware Workstation is one of choice.
