We have a license for Installshield 12 and it is registered on English Windows 7. We would like to uninstall it on the existing PC and install on a different PC with Japanese Windows 7. Please let us know the procedure to deactivate the License and activate it using other PC name(after installing on the other PC).
We would like to activate an Installshiled key for a new development PC.
We are unable to activate it. It shows the below error dialog.
"The serial number that you entered cannot be activated. It has been used more times than allowed."
But, we found that in our organisation, there is no PC that is using the above license. Finally, we understood that the PC in which the license key was activated earlier, was formatted without uninstalling the Installshiled 12 (which would have returned the license back to us if uninstalled properly).
Kindly let us know how to get back the license key, so that we will be able to use it on a different PC.
If you forgot to uninstall/deactivate before you formatted the hardf disk you will need to contact Flexera Software to have them reset the license manually.
