Windows Installer cannot update advpack.dll

During installation I get this error:
"Windows Installer cannot update system file ... \advpack.dll...."

My application is VB6 based and requires advpack as dynamic dipendencies.
Please help me.

If it is a Windows Protected file, the only means for updating it is via the Microsoft approved update mechanisms.

Microsoft does make some suggestions for MSI authors though.
