Use external installer in my application installer?

Hello,

First of all I have to say that I'm new in InstallShield projects in Visual Studio 2012, and I'm using InstallShield 2013 Limited Edition. I don't know if this is appropiate forum to ask, sorry if not.

I'm developing an application that uses Kinect. So I need to install Kinect Runtime (it is an exe file) if it is not installed, but I don't know how to do it. It seems that you can only display a message if a prerequisite is not met.

Hi,

Could you kindly let me know if you want to include that application as a Prerequisite in your project file so that it gets installed when you run this setup?

Dear User,

Creating custom prerequisites is not supported in Limited Edition of InstallShield. However, the same can be achieved in Premier and Professional versions.
