Upgrading IS2018

I currently have IS 2018 Premier SP1 installed. If I update to IS 2018 R2, will all of my existing .ism project files need updating as well? Will there be an IS 2018 R2 Standalone Build Component?

Hi,

Nope,it won't ask for any upgrade but if specific areas have bug fixes or enhancements been added ,that would be added to your upgraded ones.

When you quote "IS 2018 R2 Standalone Build Component" does it mean IsCmdBuild.exe?,or separate standalone setup exe?
