I want to display a PDF (Release Notes) when the installation is done and the user has clicked Yes in the Check-box next to 'View Release Notes'. This is done in the last dialog called 'Setup Complete Success'.
How do I trigger the PDF/Adobe in InstallShield 2008? There are examples of how to launch the program or view a log file, but nothing on PDF.
You do it just the same as launching a program, except you need to figure out what program to launch (you're assuming Adobe, but their PDF reader need not be), and then use your pdf file as the argument. You can search the registry for what application is the default for opening a .pdf, then go from there.
