Replace file associations

I have a basic MSI project in IS2009SP2 in which I am installing my product while leaving the last version intact. This works but I also want to replace the existing file association with one that refers to the new version. I haven't made this work and I can't find anything about it in the help or user guide. Any ideas?

Hi Bill,

The File associations are basically registry entries. Please refer to this article for information on how to create file associations in IS2009 --> http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/doc/Helpnet/installshield16helplib_sp1/FileAssociations.htm.
