Progress Bar Empty during execution of CustomAction
I am using InstallShield 2010 and mine is a Basic MSI project.
I couldn't find a way to show progress bar during the execution of custom action. I am able to display text on top of progress bar using ActionText.
CustomAction is placed after InstallFinalize in Execute sequence. This CA is written to execute commands which takes about 5-10 minutes.
When it is exectuing the above custom action, it is displaying empty progress bar. So user may misunderstand like the installation stopped.
I want to display progress bar where in it is actually moving with segments or something similar.
How is it possible???? Please help.
Thanks,
