Override event handlers in InstallScript
Hi, I have an InstallScript MSI project (IS2009) where I would like to override a number of event handlers, in particular OnSetUpdateMode, OnShowUI and OnUpdateUIBefore. However, none of these functions appears in the lists under any category in the script editor. Do I have to do something to enable their being overridden? Do I just create functions with those names?
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I couldn't find any hints posted here previously or within the product documentation. It's been a while since I used InstallScript (I mainly do Basic MSI) and IS7 had many more categories of event handler to choose from.
Thanks
Phil

To answer my own question: closer reading of the help shows that the functions I want to override are only available to InstallScript projects, not InstallScript MSI ones. Guess I'll have to come up with another solution. Thanks to anyone who read the initial post.
