I am using InstallShield LE for Visual Studio 2015. Is there a way to terminate the installation and not install the redistributables if a particular operating system is detected? I have tried the system hardware requirements check for OS Version and that will stop the installation of my application based on the OS, but this occurs after the redistributables have been installed.
There is a feature prerequisite functionality in higher version of InstallShield that would allow you to install the prerequisite after the launch condition gets checked. Unfortunately, this is now available in the limited edition.
