I must install some fonts that has the extension "otf". When I add those files in a component, no entry is created in the Font table. If I try with a .ttf, an entry is created. I'm just wondering if those fonts will be correctly installed if I manually populate the Font table.
The Windows Installer Font table docs don't indicate whether or not OTF type fonts are supported; however, ICE51 does seem to imply that OTF is supported (and that the FontTitle field should be left null). You can try populating the table manually referencing your OTF font file keys, as it appears that this may be all that is needed to register the fonts.
