Multiple Add/Remove Icons

Each time we either do a new install or a modify/edit on a machine that already has the software installed, we end up with multiple icons in the Add/Remove Programs Folder. How do we get these "uninstalled" each time we perform these actions?

Please try to figure out the problem yourself first. What you face is one of the commonest problems in the Windows Installer world. A simple google search could have sufficed.
