Installshield update is not updating dll's
I have changed the product code, changed the version number, (tried with and without upgrade path), but for some reason my dll will not be overwritten. If I uninstall my active x, then reinstall, it'll install with the latest dll's.
below is waht my release looks like. Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated because I have tried what feels like very setting and situation.
I am using the singleImage setup.exe / compressed / auto generate inf.
cache msi locally = yes

Hi,
When you are changing the version number please make sure the change is within the first 3 fields.
The 4th field is not recognized by Windows Installer for upgrades.

If the product code, version number, and the upgrade path is populated correctly, you will need to verbosely log the install to see what the issue is.
