Installshield 2014 premier trial. Edition + Japanese Setup Language
Hi
I selected the JapaneseLanguage during the installation of InstallShield , but when I inputed Japanese Product Name on General Information,
then Compiled the project,Error occured
??? 7 -7184: The Value column of the Property table includes characters that are not available on code page 1252: "?" ISDEV : error : -7184: The Value column of the Property table includes characters that are not available on code page 1252: "?"
why? because it's a trial. Edition?

No, this is a problem because the Japanese name is using characters that are not valid on code page 1252. It's using code page 1252 because it's building the .msi file for a language such as English. You can either select to build a UTF-8 database (on the Releases view > Release > Build tab; this has other limitations; see the inline and online help related to this), or you can choose to build only a Japanese .msi file by selecting just Japanese for UI Languages.
