InstallShield and Microsoft Web Platform Installer

Hi all,

We may soon need to be adding some pieces of the Microsoft Web Platform Installer (URL Rewrite and Application Request Routing for starters) .

I'm wondering if InstallShield currently supports this or if I'll have to cobble something together via Custom Action or some other means.

Would this be something that could be handled with Web Server Extensions in the Internet Information Services view?

Any help appreciated.

Hi @jlimones ,

 You can install the web platform installer on the target machine by configuring your own prerequisite

After that you can enable/disable the web extension through the  web service extension or through the custom action.
