InstallShield advanced design literature?
I’ve inherited a set of broken InstallShield projects. I’ve looked for some documentation that would describe how to handle non-trivial projects, but found none. The User Guide covers very basic scenarios.
A search of Amazon produced InstallShield technical books from 2002 – a lot has changed. (I did turn up Phil Wilson's book on MS Installer - 2004)
Are there any recommendations on where I might find books or online materials? Or should I just post questions here??
Thanks

Are you using the "Basic MSI" or the "InstallScript" project type?
For Windows Installer (which Basic MSI is) there are books listed at http://www.installsite.org/pages/en/msi/books.htm
For non-MSI (including InstallScript) there are books listed at
http://www.installsite.org/pages/en/books.htm
All the INstallShield specific books are quite old, but much of the information still applies. The only up-to-date material are the training manuals which can be purchased separately. But if you are just starting with InstallShield you should consider taking the course.
But of course you are welcome to post your questions here in the forums (after checking the help and searching the knowledge base and existing forum posts).
