We have two teams working on same project, but geographically separated. One of our team is using Install Shield 2009 Prof edition and the other team is using Install Shield 2008. One team has created an IS 2009 project in their version of the software say project_2009.ism and and used 'Save As' option in IS 2009 to create IS 2008 version of the project file say project_2008.ism.
Now the problem is that when ever other team is trying to open project_2008.ism using their IS 2008 version it is throwing error as shown below.
'C:\project_2008.ism' cannot be opened by this version of InstallShield. This may be because the project was created with a more recent version of InstallShield or the project has been updated to a more recent version of InstallShield. You must use a more recent version of InstallShield to open the project.
