Install service?

Hi,

I'm currently testing InstallShield 2008 express edition, and I'm curious to know whether it supports the installation of Windows services.

I've created a windows service in C#, and have already installed it using .Net's built-in installUtil.exe to install the service, which runs fine.

I'd now like to create an installer using IS 2008 express, which will install this automatically on the users machine, as a service.

Is this possible?

Unfortunately, no Express does not support the installation of Windows Services.

However, both the Premier and Professional editions do offer this functionality.
