I have a file with my install and need to install a different version based on the locale. So basically i have xyz.ini and it there is a different version for each locale that needs to be installed in the same location. I tried using the LANGUAGE option in the FILE properties but that didn't seem to work, it still just installs the version associated with the ENGLISH locale. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
If you're using an MSI project, you could place the files in separate components, where each component has a condition based on ProductLanguage (the selected language), SystemLanguageID, or suchlike. The MSI help library has more information.
