PACKAGE_LOCATION equivalent?
Project Type: Basic MSI
Is there an equivalent for PACKAGE_LOCATION in a Basic MSI project? We have some uncompressed files sitting along-side the setup.exe in our distribution and I need to be able to copy those to a directory beneath INSTALLDIR. I've looked at SRCDIR but that is not the location of the original, compressed, setup.exe file. How can I refer back to the original location where the setup.exe was launched from (whether this is media or a network location)?

Depending on your build settings, SETUPEXEDIR might be what you want.

SETUPEXEDIR may be as close as we'll get to a solution. Hopefully clients will not launch the setup.msi file instead of the .exe file. Is there a way to detect whether that has happened or not (so we can throw and error and bail)? Just check for SETUPEXEDIR as early in the UI/Exec sequence(s) as is feasible?
