I can check for updates but cannot download or install
I am using "IS2008 Pro german" behind a company network with proxy server for internet connection.
Witch settings are necessary to download update files with the InstallShield update manager service?
I wonder why I cannot find thousands of threads. Is everybody using IS only in private network environment???!?!
I can check for updates and I see every possible update and hotfix but I get a 404 error code when trying to download or install.
Thank you
Flo
P.S.: Our small company have to pay money for external network administrator if he tries 3 or more hours to get it work. It would be much easier to get the necessary ports, rules or filter settings on a documentation paper...

I have had similar issues downloading updates that IS tech support needed to resolve... it might be related to their recent acquisition.
