How to control execution of SQL scripts?
I have multiple SQL scripts in the SQL scripts view. I want to execute only some of the SQL scripts based on the user input. How can I do it? I am working in INstallscript MSI project and using IS 2008 premier edition.
Thank you.
Thank you.

you can set the scripts to execute by moving them to components that are being installed based on user input.

Hello,
Here is a link that may also give you some ideas. I have created a library of functions using ADO objects within install shield (IS). I can execute SQL files, run queries versus the database to get data, and if the SQL errors, I can also get the error message from the SQL server. If you would like to know more, please let me know.
