How to: RegSpyUI on standalone build computer?
Is it possible to run the RegSpyUI.exe tool on the computer on which the standalone build engine is installed?
I've recently upgraded from IS8/sp2 to IS2008 and in the past have used RegSpyUI on the development box with the full version of InstallShield installed, but never on the PC with just the standaline engine.
What do I need to do? copy RegSpyUI.exe and any support DLLs on to the build server, register any DLLs, then run the tool as normal?
Thanks.

I am not sure if this violates any licensing, but I have copied the files to a test machine to extract the COM data from a file that would not register during the install. I think there were only a few files that needed to go along with it, and none of them needed registering.
Off the top of my head I think the files you need are:
RegSpyUI
ISRegSpy.exe
Filter.xml
