I have packaged my software using Installshield 2010. When I install my software on any machine for first time, it gives me hal.dll missing error. Previously I never used to get this error. Please let me know, how can I fix this issue.
Some searching suggests that Hal.dll is a System library (it lives under Windows\System32).
I'm not sure what could have changed, but it seems like this could be an issue with the test machine you're using. I would recommend trying on a brand new machine and see if this makes a difference.
