Find whether a Product is fully uninstalled

How will I be able to find whether my product has been fully uninstalled from an external application? I need to constantly check whether my product has been fully uninstalled to start another un-installation. The msiexec.exe exists for some more time in the Processes list even after the product is uninstalled. So I will not be able to keep checking for that.

One more way to check if your product is uninstalled is to check the event log.

Perhaps, you can check if your software is regsitered in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
The key for your software will be removed on uninstallation.

thats true the best option is to check the Uninstall String to check if the product is uninstalled.
