Error on building an installshield
Hi guys
sorry just joined in a tad of a rush so will introduce myself properly later.
I work for a software company, which uses Visual Fox Pro database applications.
since purchasing installshield i have been trying to rebuild our install CDs.
All seems to work reasonable well but for the fact that i keep getting the error VFP7r.dll file is invalid or damaged.
I have googled this and even visited most of the VFP resource libraries. Seems even the VFP7r.dll i am using is current.
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this issue.
i have tried also creating the installshield with the VFP9 runtime files but get same error message.
Many thanks in advance for your help

Have you tried including MSVCR70.msm in the project? Supposedly Visual FoxPro comes with it.

From what I read, people who used Depends.exe or Dependacy Walker to see why the file you refer to was having problems found that it was missing MSVCR70.dll I think. That merge module in some cases fixed the issue.
Worth a shot like you said.
