Error 1721 on uninstall when the install ran correctly?
Hi,
i have created a MSI project, with 3 of my own custom actions.
The install runs great, the problems come when i try and uninstall the project. That is when i get the error 1721 for one of my custom actions (the first one that is run which is just a .exe file), is there something i need to do since i am running my own custom actions.. do they need to be uninstalled or something at the end of the install? What am i missing? why would i be getting an error when uninstalling?
thanks for any help

Is the EXE something you're installing? If so, do you have any conditions on the action that ensure it runs only during installation (Not Installed, for example) and not uninstallation?

that was it. i didnt quite understand it before, but i wasnt checking to make sure those custom actions were ignored on the uninstall. I didnt really even know about that! but now i do. thanks! the conditions made all the difference
