Deploy DirectX
I need to deploy Autocad and Designreview on 3000 Workstation. But both msi need DirectX on the PC. I would like to ask if someone knows how to deploy DirectX? Is there maybe a msi available?
Thanx

What project type are you using? If you're using Basic MSI or InstallScript MSI, for example, you can use the Redistributables view to add the DirectX 9 object to your project. Here's a help topic that has more info:

I believe that DirectX 9.x is the latest version of the DirectX redistributable that Microsoft shipped. It sounds like versions 10 and 11 shipped with Windows Vista and Windows 7, and no redistributables were released.

Several of my customers have reported issues with DirectX (setup as a prerequisite) not installing as part of the install if the Setup.exe or .msi file was run from a networked directory. If they run it from the CD or copy the install files to the machine's desktop it installs just fine (if it's missing) though.
