DVD-9 Size
Hi there,
In the "Releases" information in the "Media" portion of the Installation Designer, I see that my Media Format is listed as DVD9. The size is listed as 7.36 GB and the media type itself is a read-only property. Don't DVD-9s have a size of about 8.5 GB with about 7.95 GB as actual usable space? If so, why is it only listed as 7.36 GB?
Also, I just wanted to verify that there's no way to change the media type with an InstallScript project.
Thanks for the help,
Greg R

The DVD-9 size is, in fact, too small. I submitted workorder IOC-000068538 for that specific issue.
Otherwise, you can change the media type by going through the Release Wizard and selecting an existing release instead of creating a new one.

Thanks for the help, bryanwolf.
Do you know if workorders like the one you specified for the DVD-9 size typically get put in product updates? And are they regular updates? It seems like this particular issue would be quick and easy to resolve.
Thanks again for your assistance.
