Csidl_common_documents

As far as I know, this is not a defined folder in Installshield 2008. Am I correct?
If so, is it going to be in soon in a patch/update?

You don't say which project type; in InstallScript the documentation for the COMMONFILES variable mentions that its value is obtained from SHGetSpecialFolderPath with CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS...

The list of supported Directory-table properties is a property of the MSI engine, and not the InstallShield authoring environment, so we can't really issue a patch for that; it's a valid enhancement request to create a custom action to query the value, for which you (meaning "everyone") can vote using the Feedback link at http://support.acresso.com or the Contact Us link at www.acresso.com...
