Convert Installscript Project to Basic MSI Project
Hi,
I was using Installshield 12.0 Professional Edition and my application authored as Installscript project which results in setup.exe. Now we need the MSI of the same.
which one we should go or Possible ?
1) Convert the Installscript Project to Basic MSI project in Installshield ?
If this is possible, please advice on which edition of Installshield 2010 we should go for, IS Premier or Enterprise or Professional
2) Repackage the setup.exe to MSI using Stanalone Repackager tool.
If this is possible, please advice on which edition of Installshield 2010 we should go for, IS Premier or Enterprise or Professional
Please advice.
thanks,

Hi Sudhakar,
You will have to repackage the setup.exe to get a msi out of it. You will have to buy IS 2010 Premier as that version also has the StandAlone Repackager.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Alpesh
