Can we choose custom or typical install option Silent Install of basic msi project

Can we choose custom or typical install option Silent Install of basic msi project .

I have basic msi project which i want to do silent installation . Please tell me how i can choose the installation type from command prompt(Typical or custom)

Its really urgent .. Please reply ..
