Can not package the files to MSI
Hi,
I am new to installshield, I created a basi MSI project, want to copy files to target directory.
Although I created the components, associated the components to the features, and I put files to the components, I can see the files in the "Files and Folders" view, designation directory, when I build the project, the files are not embedded to my MSI. I am totally confused.
Please see below snapshots:
The file I want to install is 9.xM, but the MSI package now is only 619k.

Is anyone can give me your answer? I will wait online, thanks a lot!

Perhaps the file is uncompressed in the "Program Files" directory next to the MSI database? If so, you can use the Release Wizard to control overall compression settings.
