Hi, We have a basic msi project which uses one cab per component in the build settings so that when installing across the web only a minimum set of files need to be transferred. This build results in nearly 1500 cab files.
Each cab file is digitally signed, and as you might expect, signing so many cab files takes quite a bit of time. Does anyone know of any way to speed this process up? And if there is no way, perhaps this would be a good enhancement request for IS--add some parallelism to the signing process--spawn X signing jobs in parallel, where X is a build property....
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not sure how I can sign them before building the install since it is the process of building the install that creates the cab files....
