Activation error 51311
Hi,
I'm wondering what's going on there!
(Re)Activating InstallShield 2015 Pro failed with error 51311! Online and offline!!! :mad:
We had installed and activated it in June 2015. Now we want to change the run-time language. Therefore I uninstalled and reinstalled it (on the same machine).
The activating dialog showed the license code automatically.
But unfortunately all trys to get it (re-)activated failed with error 51311. No help for this fault.
Somebody any ideas?

Oh dear!
I (re-)installed the software tried to activate it allways via RemoteDesktop.
Now I tried to activate directly from the PC and it works!!! 🙂

Hi,
Please try the below steps to resolve this issue:
1. Open Regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\InstallShield\22.0 version.
2. Change the value of all the registry keys available to 0 then close Regedit.
3. Open InstallShield 2015 and attempt offline activation.
Make sure that you return the license first from the original machine then only try activation in your same machine. Please let me know if these steps worked for you or not.
