Access Violation in isdev.exe when opening an InstallScript MSI project
I have been using InstallShield 2015 SP2 for years and today every time I try to open an InstallScript MSI project it crashes with an access violation in isdev.exe. All MSM Database projects open normally. All InstallScript MSI projects fail. I am on the Start Page tab and click on the MSI project and immediately get the InstallShield Error window.
*** EDIT ***: Is there a list of folders used by InstallShield? I can access my projects by installing on a different computer, which is not ideal, but it indicates I should be able to get InstallShield to work on my main computer by deleting folders that will get freshly populated by an InstallShield re-installation.
I am running on Windows 10 version 20H2. I tried rebooting my computer. I tried re-installing InstallShield. The text of the error message is:
Exception ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x07f93192 trying to read address 0x00000000.
