If I downloaded an evaluation copy of 2012 Premier and then purchased a Professional license, could I just enter the Professional license key into the Premier evaluation and it would work? Or do I have to dowload a Professional version of the software?
A reinstall is not necessary. If you provide a professional edition serial number, InstallShield will turn off the premier edition features. While there are separate downloads for each edition, they exist to help target an evaluation to the feature set included with that edition.
