last panel in uninstall asks user if they want to reboot
Hi All,
Sorry if this is a newbie question.
"Sometimes" after an uninstall, the last panel asks the user if they would like to reboot their PC.
I don't know where this panel comes from or why it "Sometimes" appears.
Does anyone know how/why this panel may sometimes appears and how to prevent it from ever appearing?
Thanks

AFAIK, this panel appears only if the uninstaller could not uninstall some files that are locked by Windows, and thus it knows that once the computer is rebooted, they won't be locked anymore. So most likely your uninstaller cannot, sometimes, properly stop your running application before uninstalling the files and folders. What can you do about it? Simply investigate and find out why this happens and make sure it won't happen anymore.
