Tomcat is still running after shutdown the application in linux environment
Hi All,
After stopping the our application service I have observed that some process is still running at following location /tmp/hsperfdata_linuxuser/. This is causing the “java.rmi.server.ExportException: Port already in use: ” error. As a workaround I have killed the process using the following command kill -9 pid then I can able to restart the application. Please let me know how to kill the process which is running at tmp folder. Please look into this and help me to work on this issue.
Regards,
Sreekanth
