Issues with bundled JRE
Hi
I am using Installanywhere 2012, in out installer we are bundling jre [OpenJDK ] and we want jre should be installed on specified location. I have provided install location as "USER_INSTALL_DIR" and sub folder as /jre
However when I start installation its dumping JRE on temp location on windows and clears the folder after completing the installation
Can anyone please help on this ?
Regards,
Shanakr

Hi,
USER_INSTALL_DIR refers to installation directory ie the location where you have installed the project/product. Inside that directory you will find you /jre folder.
During installation, InstallAnywhere uses temp location to extract its content in order to proceed with the installation and after the installation is done that temp directory created by InstallAnywhere will be removed.
