How to test for Vista at installation time ?

I would like the installer to behave differently at runtime based on whether the platform is Windows Vista or XP
I saw no mention of Vista runtime identification in the user manual of Value Pack

However the following marketing text mentions that such capability exists
http://www.macrovision.com/promolanding/6901.htm

Could someone please enlighten me ?

Depending on your IA version (which you didn't state) you should have for the Check Platform rule a "Windows Vista" option.

Thanks - that works

Actually it does not work.
It seems that Check Platform does not really work for Vista

To debug, I pressed ctrl while the installer started and the console had this line

os.name == Windows XP

which suggests that Vista is not being identified correctly

My mistake. The XP exe compatibility bit was on. Once I removed it, Vista was identified correctly.
