Do not want link from "Add/Remove or Start menu"
I'm using IA2008 Hotfix1 and do not explicitly ask IA to put any entry in the "Add/Remove Programs" nor "Start menu". Why am I seeing those after my installer is run? Does anyone know how to disable that from showing up?
Thanks
Thanks

You can set $REGISTER_UNINSTALLER_WINDOWS$ to false to suppress the Add or Remove Programs entry.
To remove a shortcut, you can delete it from the Install task.

Thanks Robert. I'm not seeing any shorcut property from Install task. Did you mean I have to explicitly add an action to delete it?
Good weekend

No, you shouldn't need to explicitly delete a shortcut at run time; are you saying there's a shortcut that you don't want being created?

Right, I want IA to leave that option for me to decide - never do it by default.
