Any impact when application is stopped/shutdown?

Hi Flexera team,

The user is using FlexeraOne for monitoring because they are using application (in this case is IBM WebSphere Application Server/WAS) with a sub-capacity license.

I would like to confirm one point just to be sure.

When we stop/shutdown the server with WAS, the information sent from FlexeraAgent

Is my understanding correct that there is no problem from an auditing point of view?

(I understand that there is no problem with this as it is an operation that can be considered as part of normal operation, but I would like to confirm this just to be sure.)

Thank you in advance.

The inventory agent will start running again as soon as the server is restarted again, and from a compliance point of view the customer should be fine as sub-capacity licensing is based on the peak consumption over the full reporting period, and more than likely the server wouldn't be down for that long.

Thanks,
