Node-locked license over remote desktop

Hi,

I have run into this issue: Error -103: Cannot Checkout an Uncounted License within a Windows Terminal Service Guest Session

I understand the keywords TS_OK and ONE_TS_OK allow for the license to be checked out using remote desktop.

I don't understand what's the risk involved in allowing remote desktop sessions to use the license? If the license is uncounted it should in principle allow multiple instances anyway, correct? I would like to understand why TS_OK / ONE_TS_OK exist. What would be an example where one would want to disallow remote desktop users from checking out the license?

Thanks in advance

Hi @asanchez I think the FNP "Programming Reference for License File–Based Licensing" document explains this Optional field TS_OK and ONE_TS_OK in detail with examples. Can you please check the document and let me know if that helps?
