In FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications version 2021R1, the reporting server can fail to start if the admin server is started before the reporting server (see known issue IOJ-2189043).
If you are experiencing this issue, follow the below steps.
1. Stop the reporting server and associated Java/Open JDK processes.
2. Stop the admin server and associated Java/Open JDK processes.
3. Start the reporting server.
4. Verify that the reporting server is up.
5. Start the admin server.
You should now be able to access the FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications web UI and reporting tabs.
